Our Swiss company, www.git.ch, produced accounting software, since 1981. Numerous developments were undertaken, adjusting to changes in hardware, software, development tools, and of course customer satisfaction and requests.
Our regular customer base is in thousands, covering dozens of countries, and nearly all our customers are generating recurring income (maintenance and support contracts, cloud hosting, etc.)
We needed to adjust to a very fast change in the market expectations, in the form of Web Applications, relying on Cloud hosted data.
Our development team being overbooked, the need to start the development of our web application (ERP) was delayed, and as CEO I took the project in my hands, and decided to look for external help, and I posted a first project requirement on Freelancer.com in November 2019.
The envisaged technologies were SQL Server, ASP.net Core, Entity Framework, etc.
In milliseconds, a developer got in contact and I gave him the first project, it was Sreekanth A, the CEO of the company he founded in 2023, Flintech.co.in
6 years later, Flintech are a pillar of our web development, that since received a name : Peppermint, and multiple of their developers are working under the guidance of our Swiss team.
Our product is now sold, supported, and is becoming our main product, with an excellent evaluation by our customers who will migrate as soon as all the features that they use of our leading product (WinEUR), are released.
Flintech are also adapting Peppermint for new markets (of which India), with our complete backing.
